The Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Goods Inwards Supervisor to join our team at the NDC. Reporting to the NDC Refill Warehouse Manager, you will lead the Goods Inwards team to achieve operational KPIs and SLAs, ensuring efficient resource management and high employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and manage the Goods Inwards team, ensuring performance targets are met.
  • Conduct daily briefings and handle employee administration (leave, performance, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the NDC Refill Warehouse Manager to drive service improvements.
  • Forecast Goods Inwards volumes in collaboration with Purchasing.
  • Ensure adherence to Health and Safety policies and company compliance standards.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of SOPs and working instructions.
  • Manage 5S audits and ensure completion of actions.

Key Skills:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Ability to analyse performance metrics and drive improvements.
  • Experience with resource planning and forecasting.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and compliance.
Experience and Qualifications
  • FLT Flexi / Pivot Steer qualified (desirable)
  • Proven success in people management (+10 FTE)
  • Continuous Improvement experience i.e. Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt (desirable)
  • A successful track record of delivering a first class Service
  • FLT experience including accreditation
  • Experience with Process Improvement including automation, technology and WMS solutions
  • A passionate and engaging leader with strong people management & development experience Technically savvy; previous experience with ERP platform i.e. Microsoft Dynamics (desirable)
